A small bar and restaurant near the intersection of Hollywood and Highland. A place with unknown origins, there doesn't seem to be a reliable source of how this place came to be. Still a good place to go to for some heap food and drinks, and if you are a Disney fan, it is the Snow White Cafe. Here are some pictures:

El Capitan's Throwback Thursday
Occasionally the El Capitan Theatre in Hollywood, CA does a "Throwback Thursday" showing of a classic Disney film. They let facebook users vote for which movie will be shown, and on the selected date they screen the audience favorite.
Last week I was able to attend the "Throwback Thursday" screening of Aladdin. They gave everyone a pin, popcorn, and a small drink. Here are some pictures:

Frozen
Seeing Frozen at the El Capitan Theatre is an event!
There is ice carving, dancing by Anna & Elsa, picture taking spots, snowfall, and beautiful decorations. Then the wonderful short Get A Horse! (which seems to interact with the theater itself!) and the film Frozen.
Frozen is, well, it is good. I wouldn't say it is as good as The Lion King, or the best Disney movies from that era, but it continues an uphill climb from Home on the Range. To me, some of the songs seem forced, and it can be confusing at times, but there is still mystery and beautiful scenes through out. Frozen does pass as a decent Disney movie, so see it if you like those.
